При запуске игр серии Half-life на экране возникает надпись: "SetLocale ('en_US.UTF-8) failed. Using 'C'. You may have limited gliph support. Please install 'en_US-8' locale" Как с этим бороться? Установлена Mageia 4 64-bit.

oricus, игровому процессу это как-то мешает?
Steam хочет использовать английскую (США) локаль. Не находит ее в системе, просит установить и запускает с значением "C", т.е. нейтральным значением установленным в системе по умолчанию. У пользователей с русской локализацией, это, само собой, ru_RU.UTF-8.
Если очень хочется, можно сгенерировать en_US.UTF-8 локаль.

Для начала, попробуй запустить Steam так
[console=user]LANG=en_US.utf8 steam[/console]
И уже из стима запускай игру. Сообщи - появится ли ошибка, если так запускать.

Мы не закрываем обычно темы. Вместо этого отметку "Решено" ставим.
Это можно сделать, открыв на редактирование первое сообщение темы, выбрав в выпадающем списке solved. Тогда в списке тем раздела, будет отображаться отметка "Решено" у темы.
